As a belated birthday present, my good friend gave me Lauren Bacall’s autobiography, and I think it’s absolutely wonderful. It definitely gave me insight to her character… I love her. I’m also declining into sickness - a cold I think I caught from my friend - or maybe he caught it from me. Either way it came at the most inappropriate time: the week before exams. What a bore!
